Summer to Fall and Winter

Sadly summer is leaving us and we have to prepare for fall and winter.

My big shed at the back of the house has been taken down and next spring an extension to the deck will be constructed.

We have a membership now at a local fitness club so my guests can have a workout for a small daily/weekly fee.  VitFit has very state of the art equipment, they also have classes for Yoga, TaiChi and Zumba, this is going to be great for the winter months.

New addition !!

This 12' x 22 ' building is coming down, then I will be able to see the "wild garden" that I have behind it. Looks like this......at the moment.

Then I shall extend my deck out by approx.  15'  which will make it a total of approx. 25' and will allow myself and my guests more pleasure than we got with the big bldg.

2014

Here we are a whole year passed since last Victoria Day Weekend.

It has been a very long winter and our spring is very cool, our Gazebo will not be up till June 1st.

We have had a very busy year, met some lovely new people and welcomed back some lovely returning guests.

A microwave unit has been added to the guest living area and has been well received.

We are planning to add the convenience of having dinner with prior 3 day booking.  To see the menu, go to BBCanada.com/Pam's Bed and Breakfast

May 2013

Hello everyone,  this is the start of the Victoria weekend and it looks like we are getting warmer weather at last.  Much to my delight Pam's B and B has been very busy ever since we opened. I have made new friends and am enjoying meeting everyone.
I have been making a few changes around the property,  adding things and making some repairs needed after the winter. Now it is grass cutting time!!

Have a blessed and safe summer.

Starting out again

I am so excited about the opening of my Bed and Breakfast establishment.
This has been a dream of mine since I first trained in the hospitality industry back in England 1956 at Brighton Tech which is now a University.  Over the years this industry has taken me from the bottom up, training in the laundry, making beds, serving at tables and at the bar, then onto the front desk, night audit and then into management.
There have been side trips into other industries while working through life, marriage and  having a family.
